Our fibre: 100% Tanguis Cotton "The King Cotton"
The story of cotton began about 5,000 years ago in the Andes of Peru. The Inca Culture used cotton as their main raw material, treating it with natural dyes, and knitting it with special skills, using techniques that were ahead of their time, and passed on by generations.
The Tanguis Cotton is grown in the Central Coast of Peru. It is ranked among the finest and softest fibres in the world. It has a uniform long staple fibre that produces a yarn of great regularity, from which carded and combed yarns can be obtained.
The specific climate and soil conditions make Peruvian cotton seeds the longest stems in the world, which coupled with perfect balance between resistance and fineness make for some of the best regarded material in the textile industry.
